I have aways been a shy, introverted person and I feel that I express myself best through art. I played elite cricket for the Tasmanian Tigers, Hobart Hurricanes and the Sydney Thunder across a high-performance career spanning 13 years. Throughout my cricket career, I found an escape in art. I would pack a pencil and paper with me wherever I went throughout the cricket season. It allowed me to forget the pressures and expectations of elite competition. My love of sport and passion for art collided when I co-authored and illustrated a book called Victress - Women who paved the way in Australian Sport. The book focused on celebrating 35 Australian female athletes who had inspired me throughout my career. I have never taken an art class, except for Pinot and Picasso :) I love camping, boating and any outdoor adventure with my partner Tom. I’m currently transitioning out of the game and am exploring my love of art.
